Living on campus can be one of the most memorable experiences a student can have during college and it is our desire at Hope to provide students with a Christ-centered community that is built on the importance of faith, 服务, 和学习.
Living within the campus community is an important aspect of a student’s personal development and education. Research continues to demonstrate that students who live on campus benefit in a number of ways. In fact, students who live on campus beyond their freshman year:

The HIU campus consists of two living areas: Alpha and Omega. Alpha is reserved for male 居民 while Omega is reserved for female 居民. Each area has its own lobby with a lounge connecting the two buildings. Alpha and Omega are only a few steps away from classes, 教堂, 图书馆, 自助餐厅, 胜博发体育app中心.

All HIU Students living in the Residence Halls are required to be on a Meal Plan. Exceptions to being on a Meal Plan are considered on a case-by-case basis and need to meet the criteria of extraneous circumstances, which will be verified by the Vice President for 胜博发体育app事务. All students desiring to live off campus must fill out an Off-Campus Approval Form. To live off-campus, students must meet the following criteria:

HIU does provide summer housing for students who have previously lived in the residence halls. A separate “夏天住房 Contract” needs to be submitted and approved prior to the start of summer.
HIU does offer LIMITED housing for students attending a local college/university. Students interested in living at HIU are required to fill out a "非hiu住房合同，并附有“教牧参考”."

Dorm only 居民 are more than welcome to participate in all on campus events. HIU wants to welcome you into the community, and make you feel like every other resident who lives on campus.
